Post high school graduate examines the positive outcomes of enrolling into UOW!

A small town 21 year old dying to explore change, growth and establish his own identity decided to ‘crash’ at his friends house during the week to follow his dreams in journalism.

Jakes heightened level of anxiety and nerves in the first lecture quickly deminished over the 2nd week of studying at UOW, “The atmosphere at UOW is beyond welcoming and comforting”.

Outsiders describs UOW campus as a large maze, confusing and overwhelming, however jake begs to differ… “The maps were so helpful and within the first 3 days, I knew where each of my classes were located!”

Independence and social skills are difficult for students to acquire after being “sheltered” during High School years; the concept of ‘uni life’ is also daunting for some. Alternatively jake claims ”the social aspect of UOW is exhilarating, I’ve never made so many friends in such a short time. I can barely remember them all!”

Well as you can see UOW seems like the place to be! ☺️
